CAN I GET OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SERVICES COVERED BY MY INSURANCE?Many insurance companies cover pediatric occupational therapy . The reimbursement rate depends on the individual policy agreement. We are here to help provide you with any and all documentation required to increase reimbursement.

DO I NEED A GP REFERRAL FOR AN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY EVALUATION AND TREATMENT?It is mandatory to have a referral from you pediatrician. The prescription should state " please evaluate and/or treat my child for pediatric occupational therapy services.

IS AN EVALUATION REQUIRED?Yes it is. To provide your child with the optimal care, depends on one would require an initial assessment that provides standardized and professional impressions. The extent of the evaluation is based on previous ones.

HOW MUCH THERAPY WILL MY CHILD NEED?Once the initial evaluation is completed, examined and you are paired with an occupational therapist, frequency, individual activities, and goals will be discussed. Everyone learns and develops at different rates. We are confident that with therapy and follow through of home and school suggestions can only expedite the process.

WHERE ARE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SERVICES PROVIDED?Services are provided at the clinic. We also provide both occasional visits to the classroom, home, as well as push in services within the school setting if we all feel that it will provide the support your child needs.

DO WE SPEAK TO YOUR CHILDS TEACHERS AND OTHER CAREGIVERS?Definitely. We feel that collaboration with those working with your child can only benefit your childs progress. Before we contact anyone though, we will ask for your permission to contact that specific person.
